Hwa Rang Kwan New York features five Bootcamp HIIT (high-intensity interval training) fitness & conditioning classes taught by Senior Instructor Micah.

WHAT IS HIIT TRAINING?
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a form of cardio training which alternates short, intense bursts of activity with recovery intervals. Everybody, from beginners to advanced students, can use HIIT to improve overall performance and the ability of muscles to burn fat. Additionally, and crucially, HIIT speeds up the metabolism, which helps the body to burn more calories throughout the day.

WHAT ARE THE FITNESS TRAINING CLASSES LIKE?
Although the interval drills are different in every class, a typical Boot Camp class would start with one round of jumping rope, followed by six minutes of high-energy functional exercises to warm up the muscles.

The core of each class consists of intense cardio intervals (between twenty seconds and sixty seconds in length) interspersed with rest periods of ten to thirty seconds.

In any class the exercises could include body weight, hand weights, kettle bells, medicine balls, kicking, punching, running, jumping, squatting, lunging, sprinting, and anything in between.

The possibilities are endless, the variety is exciting, and the results are exceptional.

Each class will be an amazing all-body workout, in only thirty minutes.

ARE THE CLASSES SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS?
Our fitness classes are suitable for new and experienced students alike, although first-time students are recommended to come to our Tuesday 6:00pm class.

HOW MANY CLASSES ARE THERE?
We offer five Bootcamp classes per week. 6:00pm Monday-Thursday and 9:30am Saturdays.

All classes are open to students of all levels. 


HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
An intro Boot Camp class costs $10.00. If you would like to sign up for a Bootcamp membership, the cost ranges from $45.00- $80.00 per month (call or email for more details). With a membership you can attend as many Bootcamp classes each week as you wish.

Bootcamp classes are included with all of our Taekwondo and Kickboxing memberships.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
You should wear comfortable workout clothing. We always work out barefoot.

WHAT ARE YOUR FACILITIES LIKE?
We are currently sharing space with Geneva Fit Club. We have a beautiful, newly renovated, dedicated space located in the back of Geneva Fit Club in Downtown Geneva. Our 825 sq ft workout area is equipped with new mats, and a wall of full-length mirrors. We have four restrooms, locker rooms, and showers.
